Due to copyright laws, music will need to be purchased for each student to play. There are three options for music purchase so that families can choose the method that works best for them. Upon registering for lessons, you will be asked to select one option for the semester:
Option 1: "Do it Yourself" - The teacher will give music recommendations as needed throughout the year. Families purchase the music on their own.
Benefit: This gives families the flexibility to search for good deals online or at a music store such as Heid music in Appleton.
Option 2: "Teacher-Handled" - For a nonrefundable fee of $45 per semester, the teacher will purchase all music for the student as needed throughout the year. The student will keep the music for their own collection.
Benefit: This option saves families time - they do not have to worry about finding music and getting it to the student on time for lessons, and the student still keeps the music.
Option 3: "Music Rental" - For a nonrefundable fee of $5 per month ($20 per semester), the teacher will provide all needed music for the student. At the end of the semester, the student will return the music to the teacher.
Benefit: This is the most cost-effective route. The downside is that the student will not be able to keep the music they have learned.
